Governor Seyi Makinde is at Iwo Road where an angry mob is set to set the Police station ablaze.
He has again sued for peace among the ENDSARS protesters attempting to raze Testing ground police barracks, Idi-Ape, Ibadan.
Addressing the protesters along Iwo Road, Governor Makinde appealed strongly for calm with a promise that government would ensure the immediate release of those behind bars.
Governor Makinde assured the protesters that he would meet with the state Commissioner of Police, Joe Nwachukwu for an immediate execution of their demands.
Earlier, a police officer shot a bike man, which led to an unrest.
The governor added that the state government has opened a register at Ibadan North East Local Government Area for residents in the area to properly register complains of any form of police brutality
