The Executive Chairman of Egbeda LG who is also the ALGON chairman in Oyo State and the Deputy National President of interim Management Committee of ALGON in Nigeria, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele felicitates with Muslims in Egbeda local government on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir.
The chairman, in sallah message made available by his information officer, urged Muslim faithful to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim who in obedience to God's directive was ready to sacrifice his only son.
He admonished the Muslim ummah in Egbeda local government to reflect on the significance of the celebration by allow peace to reign in our local government and Oyo State because conflict has never helped any society, tolerance holds the answer and we must all imbibe that as we celebrate this period of love.
Hon. Sanda also enjoined the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir period to pray for the peace, prosperity and stability of Egbeda LG, Oyo state and the country, adding that for the society to prosper and reach its full potential, people must contribute their quota through prayers.
He therefore wishes Muslim faithful successful celebrations and to remain safe.
