RE - HOW IBNELG CHAIRMAN LED SECURITY PERSONNEL, PMS BOYS TO SPY MY HOUSE LAST NIGHT

The attention of the Ibadan north east local government chairman, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo has been drawn to the report on the “ Alleged spying allegation by ALH Bisi Olopoeyan”.

  It is a known fact that the chairman on Thursday 15th of July, 2021 launched a joint security operation that comprises of NIGERIA POLICE, DSS,NSCDC, OPERATION BURST AND THE AMOTEKUN CORPS CODE NAMED “OPERATION STAY SAFE”.

  This initiative was birth to reduce or eliminate all the security threats that occurs during late hours and early morning. 

The patrol are expected to go through the nooks and cranny of the entire local government creating awareness that the security agencies are within our reach also, to deter anyone planning any breakdown of law and order.     

  The initiative is simply created to improve safety of lives and properties which includes that of ALH Bisi Olopoeyan. In the cctv footage released by Alh Olopoeyan, security patrols vans and amotekun motorcycles can clearly be seen moving along his street and at no time did the patrol stop infront of his house. 

Since the operation began, the chairman mentioned that the police have neither recorded Any case of bag snatching or phone snatching not to mention unnecessary gang related fights which we believe is a plus to the entire security agencies on this operation. 

In his statement, He said “I took an oath to protect lives and property before assuming the office of the Executives chairman and that’s exactly what I intends to give to the good people of IBNELG”.

  The chairman hereby advises all residents of Ibadan North east local government to be of good conduct and assured them of a safer environment in Ibadan north east local government area. 

The chairman will like to use this medium to thank all the security agencies involved in the operation for their support and cooperation.
