The executive chairman of Ibadan North East Local Governments, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo has reiterated his commitment to improve the welfare of staff of the local government.
He gave his assurance during the August edition of staff inter-religious prayer held at the local government main hall, Iwo road. Hon. Akintayo emphasized on his pledged to renovate the existing toilet in a modernized way for the usage of the staff.
He equally seized the forum to intimate the staff that the local government has gotten Ministry's approval for the provision of office furniture for the staff which will commence soon.
The branch caretaker chairman of NULGE Comrade Afeez Raji, cautioned the staff from coming late to work as the state government has issued circular to that effect. He further said efforts are also in pipeline towards payment of staff leave bonus.
In conclusion, the NULGE Chairman stated that appreciating staff birthday month has been included in the monthly prayer meeting under his administration.
The prayer session was brought to an end with birthday celebration for the August born staff.
