The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde has approved the release of one billion naira to sacked local government officials in the state.
A memo by the ministry of local government and chieftaincy matters, signed on December 21, 2021 and exclusively sighted by OYOINSIGHT.COM, showed that the state is owing the former council helmsmen four billion, eight hundred and seventy-four million and eighty-nine thousand, four hundred and twenty-five, sixty kobo.
