IBNELG Chairman, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo Congratulates the Oba (DR), Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun Alli, Okunmade II as the Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan north east local government, Hon Ibrahim Akinsola Akintayo has congratulated Oba Olalekan Ishola Balogun, the Okunmade II, who was crowned as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland on the 11th of March,2022.

Hon Akintayo, described the new Olubadan, who was presented with the staff of office, by governor Seyi Makinde as an astute and compassionate leader who loves Ibadanland. He however assert that the reign of Oba Balogun will usher in positive development into Ibadanland having noted that the new Olubadan is a notable academician, a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and a man with extensive experience in the private sector, reiterating that all these will combine to make the 42nd Olubadan reign one like no other. He expressed the hope that the reign of Oba Balogun will birth meaningful developments in Ibadan land.

Hon Akintayo said he had no doubt that Oba Okumade II  would lead the people well.

With these votes of confidence, it is an indication that he is thought of highly in his ability to be an Oba. It is our hope that he has a successful reign as the 42nd Oba of Ibadan land, Oyo State.
