Religious conversion is the adoption of a set of beliefs identified with one particular religious denomination to the exclusion of others.

This might be from one to another denomination within the same religion. The conversion "marks a transformation of religious identity and is symbolized by special rituals".

Note that people convert to a different religion for various reasons, including active conversion by free choice due to a change in beliefs. However on Monday 25th of April, 2022. Olori Olubadan of Ibadanland, Joyce Balogun bears a new name “KHADIJAH BALOGUN” and accepted Islam during the Ramadan lecture organized by HON IBRAHIM AKINTAYO of IBNELG.

The lecturer while analysing each quality attributed the qualities to the leadership style of the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

Alhaji Atere hinged the trustworthiness to the fulfilment of the Governor's promise to rebuild Adogba community mosque which was consumed during the ongoing construction of Iwo road motor park with a standard mosque equipped with modern facilities.
