The youths of Oyo Alaafin congratulate Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu on birthday, wishing Oyo Prince and the youngest contenders to the stool of alaafin of Oyo, Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu a happy birthday, and also reaffirmed their unparalleled and irreversible support to Crown Prince in the race of selecting new Alaafin.
A 46-year hold identified as Adepọju Ibraheem spoke on behalf of others by raining prayers on oyo preferred candidate to the vacant stool of alaafin, (Siyanbola JNR) that Almighty Allah will surely make him the winner of the race. According to adepoju, Prince Siyanbola is a fantastic young man with a merciful attitude, especially to the poor.
We want him as new Alaafin, he is always approachable and not a proud person, he has never opened his mouth and introduced himself as a Prince except one finds out, not until the issues of kingship. Despite the fact that he's more crown Prince than any other person as far as Agunloye ruling House is concerned. So we know him, we know his father , Prince Azeez Akano.
The whole Oyos knows his father as Alaafin Ladigbolu's son, he had about three nicknames. We sometimes call him Baba Laisi Omooba Gboro, baba kekere gboro and baba ma wo tana (someone who doesn’t wear one cloth twice) The man was a very gentleman to the core, very yellow and easygoing man who could tell you history of Yoruba from the Sango era up to date without opening any book. He passed away on the 15th of January 2007. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace of Almighty God.
We pray for the emergence of his son, Siyanbola as the new Alaafin of Oyo.
