Hon. Alimi Abiola Efficy Reaffirms PDP Membership, Appreciates Hon. Francis Adetunji, Declares Continued Loyalty To Governor Seyi Makinde And Odidiomo

 

I, Hon. Alimi Abiola Efficy, extend my appreciation and best wishes to my political leader and mentor, Hon. Francis Adewale Adetunji, former Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Oluyole State Constituency, following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Although we engaged in extensive discussions and consultations to prevail on you not to leave the house we all collectively built with sacrifice, loyalty, and shared vision, you remained resolute in your decision, based on personal considerations best known to you. While I may not agree with the decision, I respect your right to chart your own political path.

Hon. Adetunji has been a major instrument of progress in my political journey. Our relationship dates back to 2016, during the preparation for the Omititun agenda when I was Oluyole Local Government Party P.R.O under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Coordinator of Omititun Youth Movement, when you emerged as the SDP Chairmanship Candidate for Oluyole Local Government. From that defining moment, we created a synergy that went beyond politics, rooted in mentorship, trust, and genuine commitment to grassroots development.

Your belief in me reshaped my political career. I remain profoundly grateful for the opportunities you provided, particularly when you gave me your only slot as a Caretaker Committee Member in 2020, and subsequently, the Supervisory Councillor position in 2021. These roles strengthened my political experience and capacity for public service.

As you move forward in your political journey, I sincerely wish you the very best and success in all your future endeavours.

For the avoidance of doubt, my loyalty to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the Omititun course remains 100%, from PDP to SDP and back to PDP. I also reaffirm that I, Hon. Alimi Abiola Efficy, remain a committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ward 10, Oluyole Local Government.

Going forward, Engr. Seyi Makinde, by God’s Grace the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027, remains my Political Party/General Overseer in politics, while Hon. Dikhrullahi Stanley Olajide (Odidi Omo), by the will of Allah, the incoming Governor of Oyo State in 2027, remains my political leader.

Once again, I appreciate Hon. Francis Adewale Adetunji for his mentorship, support, and lasting impact on my political life.
