A woman has taken to popular social media platform Twitter, to share what she saw inside the relief package that was given to her as a result of the lockdown order in Lagos State.
Since the lockdown started, a lot of Nigerians have complained about hunger which the government have put measures in place in order to relief the citizens. While some have complained that they haven't gotten it yet, others have. President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday in his National broadcast extended the lockdown order in FCT, Ogun and Lagos for another two weeks.
The lady shared what she saw inside the relief package via social media platform Twitter which has gotten lot of people talking.
The tweet shared on Twitter by @iyabojohnson read "I don’t even know if I should laugh... please see what @followlasg @jidesanwoolu gave us... expired rice. It’s like the Corona isn’t killing people fast enough so they tryna poison us."
This tweet has gotten lot of reactions from Nigerians as they were also surprised at what she shared. The picture she shared contained rice which seem to be bad. Some persons have suggested that it could be as a result of water, while others are still surprised about it and do not believe her.
