The chairman, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo today at the testing ground divisional police station launches the start of a new security initiative aimed at ensuring peace and safety among the citizen of Ibadan north east local local government.
The initiative involve the deployment of resources by all the security agencies within the local government area which include NIGERIA POLICE, DSS, CIVIL DEFENSE AND AMOTEKUN CORP. The various security agencies will deploy combine resources on a daily patrol within the council area especially the hot spot. The security teams will be on daily patrol in and around the entire local IBNELG ensuring all its citizens are safe and protected at all times. In the bid to ensure safety the chairman has shown commitment towards all the security agencies and also continuous support to make their work easier.
In his remark, the chairman reiterated his commitment to ensure safety of lives and property of his citizens, having visited and met with the youth at every ward in IBNELG area including all those operating within the hot spot and others involved in gang related violence.
He stated his commitment to one of the four cardinal agenda of his Excellency, Seyi Makinde which is security of lives and properties.
He concluded his remark by stating his desire to work closely with both state and non state security agencies.
