EASTER: SENATOR KOLA BALOGUN FELICITATES CHRISTIANS AT EASTER, URGES THEM TO PRAY FOR RESURRECTION POWER TO STOP COVID 19

The Senator for the Oyo South senatorial district in the 9th national Assembly, Dr Mohammed Kola Balogun has felicitated Christians in his district and Oyo state in general on the occasion of the 2020 Easter celebration.

According to the release signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Rotimi Johnson, the Senator wants our people of Christian faith to understand that the present pandemic could not have being without God's permission and we should not get tired of praying to him for mercy and solution, whether cure or vaccination for Covid 19. According to him, "as we celebrate this year's Easter, let us remain safe because Corona Virus doesn't know festive season and it's not on holiday; let us keep safe and pray earnestly that the resurrection power of God would cleanse our land and stop this plague".

Senator Kola Balogun concluded by appreciating the religious leaders for the tireless education of their members on how to keep safe and abide by various guidelines from government. "With this spirit of cooperation and faith, we shall soon defeat this great enemy of humanity".
