Earlier today, Oluyole local government Supervisor for environment and health, Hon Alimi Abiola DJ Efficy led Oluyole Environmental Sanitation Team to observe the Monthly Environmental Sanitation exercise to Orita market and other environments within Oluyole local government, he was accompanied by Oluyole LG Director of Environmental Health, Health Officers, Amotekun operatives, Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Wai Brigade and Man O War.
In his statement below;
"I really appreciate the people of Oluyole local government for their compliance.
Maintaining a healthy environment is central to increasing quality of life and years of healthy life. Globally, 23% of all deaths and 26% of deaths among children under age 5 are due to preventable environmental factors.
Therefore Oluyole local Govt under the chairmanship of Hon Settle Olaide will ensure a clean, green, hygienic and healthy environment for our indigents and residents.
I also commend Oyo state commissioner for environment, Barr Lateef Idowu Oyeleke for being a pragmatic role model as he's ensuring a clean, green, hygienic and healthy environment in Oyo state under the peoples Governor, H.E Engr Seyi Makinde led administration."
