Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) declared elections results for the May 22 Local Government Elections.
The declaration became necessary following the presence of some of the Returning Officers/ Collation Officers with the result of the elections at the OYSIEC Headquarters Agodi Ibadan.
Dr. Adeoye through the analysis of the results of the elections he read at the floor of the conference room of OYSIEC said the PDP Candidate, Mr Yusuff Suhaib Oladayo polled total numbers of 37,135 votes, ahead other party candidates.
The returning officer for Ibadan North Local Government, Mr Daudu Adebayo Agunbiade gave the analysis of the votes as stated below:

APC - 259
APGA - 913
LP - 59
PDP - 37,135
SDP - 73
YPP - 10
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo declared winner of the election having polled the highest number of votes.
