The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has began the declaration of elections results for the May 22 Local Government Elections.
The declaration became necessary following the presence of some of the Returning Officers/ Collation Officers with the result of the elections at the OYSIEC Headquarters Agodi Ibadan.
The situation at the OYSIEC is currently calm as some of the returning Officers/ Collation Officers are waiting for the approval for the continuation of the declaration process from the OYSIEC Chairman Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju who just stepped out shortly after the formal declaration of the Itesiwaju local government elections was made.
