The Executives chairman of IBNELG Hon, Ibrahim Akintayo charged all Muslims to expand their spiritual benefit of the occasion by promoting peaceful co-existence with each other and the people of other faith so as to shun violence and religious conflict in whatever forms.

In his statement, “he said, the festivity calls for sober reflection and the need for every Muslim and other Nigerians to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, humility and brotherly love.

“The significance of the season should be beyond the festivity but should be a moment to reflect on why God has united everyone with a common humanity of blood, food and water as these should constitute what bind the people.
