Security Agencies and Community Leaders Commends Hon Ibrahim Akintayo For Encompassing Security in Ibadan Northeast LG

Chairman Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo spoke of his effort to ensure that security in Ibadan NorthEast is all encompassing stating that he will ensure that his territory is well secured by the collaboration of both state and non-state security agencies

The chairman made this known at the monthly peace and security meeting held at the council's secretariat.

Some of the state security officers present reiterated that the narrative has changed, as security at Ibadan North East has witnessed tremendous improvement since the inauguration of OPERATION STAY SAFE. The religious and community leaders were enjoined to collaborate to do all humanly possible to curb all night programs that can aid and be used to perpetrate nefarious activities.

In his response, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo appreciated all efforts by concerned stakeholders and citizenry, and promised that VOLUNTARY POLICING SECTOR will be launched soon.
