WORKERS' WELFARE: Ibadan Northeast LG Chairman, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo Lauds Engr Seyi Makinde For his Staff Friendly Gesture

The Executive chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government Hon Ibrahim Akintayo has lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr Oluseyi Makinde for timely release of promotion letters of the civil servants across the state.


Hon. Akintayo gave the words of commendation while rejoicing with the staff of the local government during the September edition of monthly interfaith prayer organized by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) Ibadan North East branch.

The council chairman urged the staff to be diligent and committed to their jobs to justify salary been given to them.

He said as promised in the last month interfaith prayer, chairs and tables have been distributed across all the departments while effort is in top gear to renovate staff general toilet as soon as possible.


Earlier in his address, the branch NULGE caretaker chairman, Comrade Afeez Raji intimated the staff of the resumption of the newly posted HLGA, in person of Prince Adeyinka Adeleye and admonished the staff to cooperate with him so as to have harmonious working relationship.

The NULGE caretaker chairman seized the occasion to rejoice and congratulate the staff on the peaceful election that ushered in Comrade Ayobami Adeogun as the state NULGE president.

The Union chairman on behalf of the staff presented an Ox fan each to the staff mosque and christian chapel while September born staff were appreciated with cutting of the cake and taking of photograph with the council chairman.
