Oyo State PDP is set to conduct State Congress to elect the party State executives on Saturday 16th of October 2021 at Lekan Salami Sport Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan
This was stated online by Oyo State PDP Secretary and 2021 Oyo State PDP Congress LOC Secretary, Alh Wasiu Adeleke as stated below;
Attention: All PDP Members in Oyo State
It is my pleasure to inform you that we will be conducting our State Congress on Saturday, 16th of October 2021 at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The State Congress will be conducted by a Yet To Be Revealed Electoral Panel from our National Secretariat, Abuja.
The State Congress is open to ALL LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVES, WARD CHAIRMEN, WARD VICE CHAIRMEN, WARD SECRETARY, WARD YOUTH LEADER, WARD WOMEN LEADER AND THE THREE AD-HOC DELEGATES RECENTLY ELECTED AT THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED WARD CONGRESSES IN OYO STATE AND ALSO OUR STATUTORY DELEGATES INCLUDING THE NATIONAL DELEGATES THAT WERE ELECTED AT THE LOCAL CONGRESS OF OUR PARTY
As a big Family under the indefatigable leadership of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, I am glad to inform us that His Excellency has procured what we call Aṣọ Ebi (Family Uniform) for all the delegates and it has been distributed to all the 33 Local Governments through their respective Party Chairmen.
It also gladdens my heart to inform you that the National Working Committee has ratified and approved the results of our Ward and Local Government Congresses as conducted by His Excellency, Comr. Phillip Shuaib, the deputy Governor of Edo State.
On a final note, I implore us to continue to support Oyo State PDP and the PDP Led Administration of Engr. Seyi Makinde and the human faced politics that has characterized this administration.
