Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has stated that he would officially Announce Senator Lekan Balogun as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland on Monday.
He stated this at the farewell service in honour of late 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, held at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
“I have received a letter from the Olubadan Council and by the grace of God, on Monday, I will make the official announcement of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland. This is another victory for Ibadan traditional institution,” Makinde stated.
