The executive chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo mourns the death of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, who joined his ancestors on Saturday, 23rd of April, 2022.
Hon Akintayo also sends Condolence Message to the family of the demise as contained in statement signed by his Media Aide, Miss Tiwa and made Available to E3Naija Blog as stated below;
“It is with great sadness that I learnt of the death of the paramount ruler of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, who joined his ancestors in 23rd of April, 2022."
"He was a true statesman who served his state with distinction. I wish to convey to the family of the demise and to the people of Oyo my deepest sympathy at this sad time"
