Ibadan North LG Chair', Hon Yusuf Oladayo (Agba Egbe) Congratulates Makinde On Victory As Oyo PDP Gubernatorial Candidate

Shortly after the announcement of his victory, Ibadan North Local Government Chairman, Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe) has congratulated the executive Governor of Oyo state on his second term party re-tainment as the flag bearer

In a statement by his Special Adviser on media and publicity, Bodija Akinwale in Ibadan on Thursday said, “indeed in a true democracy, power truly belongs to the people.”

The statements reads: “The voice of the people is the voice of God and with the outcome of yesterday's event at the end the will of the people prevailed, and I must thank the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for doing the right thing in ensuring that the true results that emanated from each local government were duly collated”.

He commended party faithfuls for their loyalty and support for the PDP assuring that Governor Makinde will continue to deliver more projects for the people in his second tenure

“On behalf of the people of Ibadan North Local Government, I congratulate our dear governor and leader, Seyi Makinde on his well-deserved victory in the just-concluded Oyo State PDP Governorship Primary Election.

“I also congratulate our great party the People's Democratic Party PDP in Oyo State and all our teeming supporters across the state for this well-deserved victory.

“From the margin of victory it is safe to say that power indeed belongs to the people, and they decide whom to freely give it to,” he concluded.
