World Malaria Day: Momopewa Charges Olorunsogo LG Residents On Total Compliance With Health Practitioners To Fight Against Malaria

As the world marks this year’s World Malaria Day with the theme, "ADVANCE EQUITY, BUILD RESILIENCE, END MALARIA" The Executive Chairperson of Olorunsogo Local Government has called on residents to adhered to directives of medical practitioners at the local health center towards the total eradication of Malaria from the local government. 

Further she said, “Thus for this year’s World Malaria Day, it is a wake up call for all and sundry to assist in making Olorunsogo LG and Oyo State as a whole Malaria free. The chairperson made this remark at the just conducted sensitization program held at Ologbon PHC in Olorunsogo Local Government Igbeti on Thursday 28th, May 2022.

The program had in attendance the Olorunsogo LG supervisor for health Mrs Alaba Felicia, supervisor for education Mrs Adetoro Mary Yemi, Dr Adewole, Matron Mrs Oyetunji, the health educator Mrs Oni, LIO Mr Alh Muritala, Malaria coordinator/officer Mrs Adekunle, and others Olorunsogo health officials.

The Supervisory Councilor for health appreciated the unending and tireless efforts of the state government in collaboration with local council to curb the monster disease "Malaria" out of the State.
