The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon Settle Olaide receives Peace Ambassador Award for his Outstanding contributions to Peace Building in Oluyole Local Govt, Oyo State, Nigeria and Globally.
The award was presented to the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government ably represented by the Supervisory Councillor For Education and Social Services, Hon Alimi Abiola DJEfficy at the Public lecture/award to commemorate this year 2022 International Day of Peace organized by International Cities of Peace under United Nations.
The 2022 theme for the International Day of Peace is “End Racism, Build Peace.” as declared by the UN General Assembly.
According to United Nations analysis on Local Governments administration in Oyo State, Oluyole Local Government has surpassed others in terms of putting all necessary measures in place on security matters.
Upon the recommendations of the Governing board of International Cities of Peace, the Governing board hereby Confers Distinguished Service award on Oluyole Local Government for outstanding contributions to Peace building.
