Member of the legislative arm of Ibadan North East Local Government have elected a new leader, Hon Taofeek Adekunle aka (Alakia)
Following the removal of the former leader, Hon Akintayo Sobur, a new leader of the House was sworn in today after conducting election among eleven(11) members of the House.
Seven members support the removal of the former leader by voting in the new leader, two members voted for another member which is Hon Oyewusi Abiodun while the remaining two members did not vote at all.
Considering this, Hon Taofeek Adekunle Olayiwola aka (Alakia) won the election and was immediately sworn in by the Chairman of the local government, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo as the new leader of the legislative arm of Ibadan North East Local Government.
