Oyo Govt Mandates Residents To Vaccinate Dogs, Cats Against Rabies or Face Six Months Imprisonment

The Oyo State Government has mandated residents of the state to vaccinate their dogs and cats against the dreaded rabies disease. The mandate was contained in a release issued today, by the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye, drawing the residents’ attention to the importance of such vaccination. HOW TO APPLY: Oyo Government Approves Recruitment Into State Civil Service Commission, Releases Portal For Recruitment Exercise

The Oyo State Government has approved the recruitment process of about Seven hundred and Ninety-one (791) officers of various cadres into the mainstream of its civil service. The Chairman, Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alh. Kamoru Aderibigbe made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan. Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has made a new set of appointments. The governor, who returned from a four-week annual leave on Monday, appointed Engr. Akin Akinleye as his Executive Assistant on Sports Development, while he also approved the appointments of members into three Boards. A letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, indicated that members were appointed into the Boards of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service, Oyo State Pension and the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State.
