The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde have release 100Million naira for the Completion of Atiba FM in Oyo which have been abandoned by the past administration.
This was done to fulfill his Promise of the last town hall meeting held on 4th June, 2021 at Atiba, the Promises was as stated below on his Facebook handle on 5th June, 2021
"We held a town hall meeting in Atiba, yesterday to listen to the concerns of our people. The main issues they raised were asking for support for the traders at Akesan Market to restock their shops, the commencement of Atiba FM station and provision of employment for youths."
"I assured them that we would look into these issues. While we are already working with the private sector on youth employment, we would ensure that Atiba FM station kicks off. I also promised that the Oyo-Iseyin Road reconstruction would be flagged off within 4-6 weeks."
