Ogbomoso South LG Swears In Councilors, Ex-LAUTECH Student, Stephen Olatunji Emerges As House Leader

  

The newly elected Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, Oyo State, Honourable Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy on Wednesday sworn-in his Vice-Chairman, Hon. Olajide and 10 elected Councillors at the local government conference hall. 

Oyedokun, who piloted the affairs of the council for fourteen months as a Caretaker Chairman, with lot of developmental fits and staff welfare taken to the prime, was declared winner of Saturday LG polls and sworn in as the authentic Chairman of the council. 

At the inauguration program, an ex-student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Alao Stephen Olatunji was unveiled as the House leader while Hon. Ibrahim Mudashiru Akanni was elected deputy leader. 

The house also elected Hon. Ojo Ibukun Femi as majority leader whilst Hon. Oyebunmi Kehinde Micheal was unveiled as Chief Whip. 

Stephen Olatunji, representing Alapata Ward, Ogbomoso South, is known to be a grass root politician, staunch supporter of Hon. Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi and a die-hard GSMist. 

He graduated from Transport management department, happily married and business oriented.
