In line with the Unification Agenda of the PDP national Vice Chairman Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja today led PDP South West reconcilation team to the former Deputy Governor Of Oyo State, Hon. Hazeem Gbolarumi.

In a press statement signed by Special assistant to the PDP National Vice Chairman on media and publicity Bamitale Ibrahim made available to E3Naija blog

During the visit where  Alhaja Bose Adedibu the PDP Southwest Woman Leader was giving her opening speech, while addressing all stakeholders, she said though she is never a visitor to the home of the former Deputy Governor, but a core family member and that her presence and other members at his residence is to revalidate their unification agenda on pending crisis within the party.

She emphasized her desire to see all hands on deck for the genuine reconcilation of aggrieved members of the party while everyone  come together and champion the mission to reposition our party in South West. Apparently, this is important not only for personal gains but for the benefit of our followers. She also opined that we all need to look at the effect of the crisis on the followers and the party at large.

Though this is not the first time of holding this kind of reconciliation meeting but I believe this would be the one that would end all the crisis, she stated.

On the other hand, the  National Vice Chairman of PDP South West, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja during his remarks, he said he always believe that the likes of Hon. Hazeem are one inseparable family no matter the situation, for sure, we are in human institution where disagreement is sacrosant but very important to always have a reconcilable mind.

No doubt, both of us pass through same leadership training in the  same political home,  it would be a shame on us if this administration fails in it's primary Agenda, he emphasized.

He said if the Governor of the state could at a point nominate him for the post he is currently occupying just to compensate our political home, it shows that he has every other person in the family at heart.

This is a big task for everyone of us and I would continue to seek for  your support on this.

We are facing more than  enough challenges in Southwest PDP and it would be a big slap on myself and you if I fail to reconcile with my own people at home because they say, Charity begins at home, he added.

He said sometimes ago he met with

Alhaji Olopoeyan and Alhaja Mulikat and he felt everyone had reason to register their displeasure with the situation of things at all times, but while expressing it, we should all know that we should not let this allow us lose this Government of the state like it happened in 2011 which resulted into 8 years of suffering.

He further added, like Alhaja Bose Adedibu had said earlier, their have been different meeting with Hon. Hazeem on reconciliation but this is more powerful because its more of a family discussion.

Let us all believe that  there would be a positive  change if we all work together to make things work out for good, with this alone we can all benefit, he added.

In his own response His Excellency Hazeem Gbolarumi promised to support Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja in his agenda to reposition PDP.
