Bar. Suleiman Tanko Beji has defeated Arch rival Engr. Mukhtar Ahmed Suleja in the 7th August, 2021 People’s Democratic Party State congresses held at the Party Headquarters Western bypass, Minna, Niger State.
Declaring the results, The Deputy Governor of Benue State who is the Electoral Committee Chairman, Engr. Benson Abounu as stated below;
A total number of 2305 delegates were accredited.
Barrister. Tanko Beji: 2092
Engr Ahmed: 2
Invalid votes: 8.
Total Valid votes 2,652
Beji immediately accepted his election and promised to carry every party member along without difference.
Over 30 other executives positions were also elected, 11 were contested and all others were unopposed but votes were casted and counted.
Congratulations to Barrister Tanko Beji, the newly elected Party Chairman of Niger State PDP.
