The Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon Seun Fakorede and the newly elected Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Youth Leader in Oyo State, Michael Ogunsina on Tuesday, restated their avowed commitment to work with the youth wing in the party to ensure the electoral victory of the party in 2023 polls in the state.
Fokorede, made this known, when the new PDP youth leader paid a courtesy call to his office to seek his support in order to achieve the goal of security the state for PDP.
The commissioner noted that he is always ready to mobilize thousands of youths across the 33 local government council areas of the state to ensure the party coast to victory in 2023.
“I am ready to join hands with the PDP leadership in the state led by our amiable youths friendly governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde so as to empower, educate and enlighten the youths on the need to ensure that PDP retains power in Oyo State beyond 2023,” Fakorede stated.
On his part, Ogunsina said that: “The Oyo PDP Youth Wing is a political support group with the mission to build the largest network of young eligible voters across the state leveraging on galvanizing youth political worth and electoral value to push holistically for PDP to retain Oyo and reclaim Nigeria from the ineptitude of the APC in 2023.”
