As Ibadan Oyo state and the good people of the state Nigeria mourns Olubadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajeoguguniso1, CEO OmoAje Records now Babalaje records, the monarch was an amazing King and his reign was Peaceful, worthwhile and a blessing to the entire world.
In his words, the Convener OSM, Comrade Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez codenamed IJOBA AUTHORITY MOE on behalf the entire Leadership of the movement across the State commiserate with the family of the late Olubadan, Olubadan in council and the Chief mourner, His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Abiodun MAKINDE the Executive Governor of Oyo State, described Late Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji as a peacemaker whose leadership has been impactful and resourceful.
Surely, he will be forever be remembered by the good people of Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria. Through his music records company, among those artist who had won the OmoAje Records were the following Giants, likes of Dauda Epo Akara, Tatalo Aremu, Amuda Agboluaje, Wasiu Ayinde Kwam1, Jimoh Ayinla Anikura, and a host of others.
He served 23 years before becoming Prime Minister in 2016, following the arrival of King Samuel Odulana Odugbade (Late), hence making him to be a world class business man and Magnet as a monarch.
The late Saliu Akanmu Adetunji was born on August 26, 1928, in the Adetunji area of Popoyemoja, Ibadan.
On April 4, 2016, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji was inaugurated as the 41st Olubadan after the demise of King Samuel under the late former Governor, Sen. Isiaq Abiola Akanji Ajimobi.
The news of the late king at the early hours of Sunday morning was a shock to all and sundry, from an undisclosed inner room person who spoke with the press men says, "King Saliu Akanmu Adetunji His Imperial Majesty has joined his ancestors in the heavens. He was pronounced dead at the private Hospital in Ibadan, UCH on Sunday morning, January 02, 2022."
Someone at the palace further confirmed that the unfortunate incident was not a sad news at the death of the king, because he had grown up.
However, he did not say what killed Kabiesi, He is ninety-three (93) years old till his last breathe.
